Learning Difficulties

Learning Disabilities

Did you know that roughly 1.4 million people in the United Kingdom have a learning disability? However, for those who suffer with one, it can be easy to feel like you’re the only person in the world. That’s why we decided to create a community where everyone can come together, have a great time, and enrich each-other’s lives.

We help adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities, including autism, to boost their physical and mental wellbeing. We provide an array of services and support so that you can pursue employment or further education, as well as maintain social contacts and, essentially, live their life to the fullest.

From hair and beauty to flower arranging and pottery workshops, we can help you to find your hidden skills and to improve your overall wellbeing. All of our services are provided in a safe and comfortable unit, with staff members that have received a full DBS check, are fully trained and always have a smile on their face.

Our staff members know that a person’s requirements and needs will depend on the extent and nature of their disability, and we have the training and experience to accommodate this. We can help you to deal with any tasks that you find difficulty, whether this is interacting with others, managing money, or developing certain skills.

We know how important it is for you to feel comfortable and free to explore your skills and interests. We have worked hard to create this feeling at our modern resource unit, and we have made it our mission to make sure that everyone leaves having had a Happy Day.

Sometimes achieving this Happy Day means leaving our facilities and exploring all of the great things that the surrounding area has to offer. Whether this means catching a movie or exploring one of the nearby museums, we will make sure that everyone has a great time and learns something new in the process.
